Doha Weekender
West Bay · Msheireb · Souq Waqif · departs 08–15 Sep 2026
Kigali first, one soft landing day for the memorial, the coffee scene and a welcome dinner, because nobody should trek jet-lagged. Then north to the Virungas for four nights at Bisate, where you get two gorilla permits rather than the usual one, so a bad-weather morning never costs you the trip. Aline has trekked these families since 2018 and knows which ranger teams read the forest best. The last stretch drops the altitude and the pace: Lake Kivu, the Nyungwe canopy walk, and a farewell dinner looking out over the tea fields. Five nights high and hard, two nights slow.
